Now, That's Girl Power!

American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character development program for girls ages 5-18, dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG is for families with daughters who are seeking a scout-type experience.

With programming that puts an emphasis on faith, service, and fun, girls choose from more than 240 badges, participate in service projects, and are challenged by leadership opportunities and outdoor experiences. Troops are led by adult volunteers who facilitate the AHG program while encouraging girl leadership.

The NY-1412 Chapter of AHG, located in Malone, N.Y. was established in February of 2017 and is chartered by New Covenant Church.  The Troop includes the following age groups:

• Pathfinder (ages 5-6) - Pathfinder girls can foster their natural curiosity and creativity while learning what it means to be an American Heritage Girl.

• Tenderheart (ages 6-9) - As Tenderhearts, girls learn to boldy explore the world around them through the exciting AHG Program.

• Explorer (ages 9-12) - Ready to take on more responsibility, Explorers are eager to grow in all areas of their AHG experience.

• Pioneer (ages 12-14) - Pioneers are given the opportunity to find out who they truly are in Christ while gaining new leadership and life skills.

• Patriot (ages 14-18) - Patriots develop rich spiritual maturity and practice their faith through servant leadership in an environment rich with friendship.
